Reviews for Crow Girl

Library Media Connection Reviews 2013 May/June
This book is designed to be accessible to less able readers, however the story leaves much to be desired. Lily, overweight, is often teased by classmates; she tames some crows which contributes to her weight loss and increased self-confidence. Lily is an unlikeable character, while supporting characters are not well-developed. Dialogue does not ring true, and the occasional use of mature language is jarring.
