This is a book many libraries should own simply because many people want to read it, including gluten-free individuals. However, Davis's explanation about celiac disease could lead uninformed readers to believe that elimination of wheat gluten alone is the answer for those living with celiac disease. He barely touches on other sources of gluten, but he discusses in depth the effects of wheat gluten and celiac disease.[Page 62]. (c) Copyright 2013.
