Reviews for Dinosaur Fossils
Library Media Connection Reviews 2013 August/September
This series presents different types of fossilized remains, what they are, how there are formed, and where they are found. Each book includes the same definition of a fossil. The photographs are excellent and clear, each spread also includes a quick fact, or "Fossil Record," and "Fossil Facts" which give even more tidbits of information. Some of the websites at the back of the book have changed, but still lead to relevant information. I found the books well laid-out, informative, and appropriate for the target age. This is a great addition for anyone working with budding paleontologists. Bibliography. Glossary. Websites. Index. Jolene C.
