Reviews for Tempest

AudioFile Reviews 2012 April
Time-traveler Jackson Meyer finds himself trapped two years in the past after a traumatic experience in his normal time frame of 2009. Matthew Brown narrates the extraordinary events of Jackson's life in the same tone and pace that he delivers the ordinary ones, lending authenticity to this mix of mystery, science fiction, and everyday teen experiences. The story is told from Jackson's point of view, and Brown conveys his confusion and anger through changes in tone. The other characters--geeky friend Adam, girlfriend Holly, and Jackson's CIA agent father--have unique voices that match their roles in Jackson's life. E.N. (c) AudioFile 2012, Portland, Maine
