Reviews for Running Out of Time : Library Edition

AudioFile Reviews 1999 February/March
Running Out of Time is a clever play on the idea of Williamsburg or any other community where actors bring history to life. Except in Clifton, Indiana, some of the people aren't acting. The children, who have lived in Clifton all their lives, really believe it is 1840. Narrator Kimberly Schraf has the voice of a favorite teacher, promising wonders and enchantments as she reads Jessie's riveting story. M.C. Copyright 1999 AudioFile Reviews

Jesse realizes it is really 1996 and the life she has known is a cleverly reconstructed tourist site. Copyright 1998 School Library Journal Reviews
