Reviews for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Library Media Connection - March 2007
If used as required reading in classroom sets, these 17 titles would work beautifully. The stories are accurately reprinted, the forewords are refreshingly insightful, and the student guide, with general questions, suggestions of ways to approach the reading, report, or essay ideas, and questions regarding structural analysis is beneficial. Each foreword author is a contemporary writer of the same genre as the classic. Although they are beautiful books, I don't think they fit well in a school library setting. Glossary. Index.
