When a tornado destroys the King Family Orchards, Rhonda Byler and her brother's family move to Maine with Jacob and Samuel King in the hopes of starting a new Amish settlement. Jacob loves Rhonda, but he is, nonetheless, harboring secrets from his past. Now Samuel seems to be pushing Rhonda away, too. Can the group make the new settlement work with so many mysteries in the air? VERDICT This second installment in Woodsmall's "Amish Vines and Orchards" series picks up where A Season for Tending left off, and readers will want to finish that one before picking up this new entry. Existing characters are further developed, and new ones are introduced. Recommend it to fans of Wanda E. Brunstetter.[Page 77]. (c) Copyright 2013.
